Old Matthew and his sister Marilla need a boy to help them on the farm. When a funny girl with red hair arrives at Green Gables from the orphanage, they are very surprised! Things are not always easy because Anne has to learn many lessons, but the little girl is sweet and clever and everybody learns to love her.
